C. Fracture of the neck of left femur – Explanation
This is a classical presentation of a fracture of the neck of the femur. It is usually seen
in old patients secondary to osteoporosis and follows a fall or any other trivial injury
involving the hip or bottom. The leg appears shortened and is externally rotated.
Typically, they would be unable to weight bear.
